We were honoured to welcome former World Boxing Champion Bernard Dunne to Just ASK on Dominick Street.

Bernard generously shared his time, wisdom and warmth with the young people in our programmes — speaking about resilience, discipline, and the mindset needed to overcome life’s challenges both inside and outside the ring. His words struck a chord with everyone present, reminding us all of the power of belief, hard work and staying true to yourself.

He also took time to chat with two of our aspiring young boxers, Dawson and Ollie, offering training tips, encouragement and a photo they’ll never forget.

Role models like Bernard make a real impact — not just through their achievements, but through their willingness to give back and inspire the next generation.
